The fallout of Secret Invasion

Originally, Secret Invasion was planned to be a movie. However, after Disney Plus arrived on the scene, it was rewritten as a series.

The series will follow the same basic premise of the comic book. In the comic book, Skrulls invade Earth using their spaceship. The Earth heroes are ill-prepared to combat the invasion. The Skrulls disguise themselves as humans. In the film, they have evolved to a new undetectable technique.

In the comic book, Veranke is the Skrull queen who led the invasion. She adopted the likeness of Spider-Woman. It is believed that Clarke or Coleman could play Veranke in the television series.

The television series will feature characters from the MCU. The cast includes MCU newcomers, as well as actors such as Don Cheadle and Martin Freeman.
