Jackson as Nick Fury, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill and Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke, Killian Scott and Christopher McDonald as new characters.
Samuel L. Jackson will reprise his role as Nick Fury
During D23 Expo 2022, Marvel Studios premiered its first trailer for Secret Invasion. The series will follow Nick Fury as he tries to protect Earth from an alien race known as the Skrulls.
The Skrulls have been infiltrating human society for years. In the movie Captain Marvel, they introduce as a group that could shapeshift into anything they wanted. The series will explore the conflicts between the Skrulls and Nick Fury and his team.
Ben Mendelsohn reprises his role as Talos, the Skrull who appears in Captain Marvel. The series will also feature Oscar winner Olivia Colman and Cobie Smulders. The latter is returning to the MCU after appearing in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The Skrulls are believe to have a dark side, and the Marvel series will explore this aspect of the character.

Several of the biggest stars of the British and Irish film and television industries are set to star in the upcoming Disney+ series Secret Invasion. The film, based on a comic book event, will feature familiar faces and lead into the Armor Wars.
Don Cheadle will reprise his role as War Machine. He will be join other MCU veterans like Ben Mendelsohn as Talos. The film will also feature Kingsley Ben-Adir, Killian Scott, and Christopher McDonald.

Cobie Smulders will return as Maria Hill
During Disney+ Day, it was announce that Cobie Smulders will return as Maria Hill in the Disney+ series, Secret Invasion. Smulders is a veteran of the MCU, having appeared in several key Marvel movies, including Avengers: Age of Ultron, Avengers: Infinity War, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. She also appeared in three episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Secret Invasion is base on a popular comic storyline in which the popular heroes are turn into Skrulls. The series is launch in 2022. This is expect to be the first of several new shows that Disney will offer on its streaming service, Disney+.

The series will follow the same basic premise of the comic book. In the comic book, Skrulls invade Earth using their spaceship. The Earth heroes are ill-prepared to combat the invasion. The Skrulls disguise themselves as humans. In the film, they have evolved to a new undetectable technique.
In the comic book, Veranke is the Skrull queen who led the invasion. She adopted the likeness of Spider-Woman. It is believed that Clarke or Coleman could play Veranke in the television series.
The television series will feature characters from the MCU. The cast includes MCU newcomers, as well as actors such as Don Cheadle and Martin Freeman.
